CHN is looking to add to our team! We are actively recruiting for a Director of Operations and Grant Management. The Director of Operations and Grant Management is responsible for managing CHN’s grant-funded projects and providing support to organizational operations.

Charitable Healthcare Network Health Insurance Navigator (ACA) 

The Health Insurance Navigator will represent the Charitable Healthcare Network (CHN) as part of the Ohio Association of Food Bank’s Navigator Consortium and work closely with individuals and community stakeholders. The Navigator program is vital to helping small businesses and consumers learn about and sign up for health insurance benefits through the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) Health Insurance Marketplace, Medicaid, Medicare, and CHIP.

CHN and participating host clinics are actively recruiting for Navigators to provide services in several locations throughout Ohio, including:

  • Two Navigators covering Ashland, Medina, Holmes and Wayne Counties 
  • One Navigator covering Athens, Vinton, Hocking and Perry Counties 
  • One Navigator covering Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana and Portage Counties 

These grant-funded/part-time positions will work as part of a team of CHN Navigators across Ohio. Click HERE for more details. 



Engagement and Communications Intern 

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on marketing and communications experience for a statewide organization. The Engagement & Communications Intern will help oversee the day-to-day correspondence and community engagement for the Charitable Healthcare Network. This includes helping update CHN’s website, engaging on CHN’s social media pages, and finding community resources to distribute to the membership as well as supporting an organizational communications review.
