Clinic Voices Storytelling Project

From Our Executive Director: Please Support CHN on Giving Tuesday

With all due respect to Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is my favorite addition to the post-Thanksgiving shopping blitz. According to givingtuesday.org, Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 with a simple idea… a day that encourages people to do good.

Many, many organizations do a tremendous amount of “good” in our communities. And as you will no doubt see in your inbox or on social media today, your support is requested to help continue to make that positive impact. I strongly encourage you to support organizations today and whenever possible. We all need your help!

As you look at where to contribute this Giving Tuesday, I would like to ask for your support of the Charitable Healthcare Network (CHN). In 2021, our members provided nearly $183 million in care to the most vulnerable in our state. Your donation can help magnify this impact with $1 donated helping support more than $10 in health services provided in Ohio. Please consider donating to CHN this Giving Tuesday.

If you are not able to contribute financially, you can support CHN and our members in other ways as well. This includes volunteering at one of our 52 member clinics, whether you are a licensed medical professional or not, or supporting the clinic in your community financially. You can find a list of our members here with contact information for you to reach out directly.

Thank you for your continued support and consideration of additional resources on this Giving Tuesday. Let’s all do “good”,  not just today but every day!

Thank you,

Jason Koma
