Healthcare Navigator Program
In September 2021, CHN signed a contract with the Ohio Association of Foodbanks to receive pass-through funding from the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for insurance Navigators to be placed throughout the state. Navigators are federally certified and licensed by the State of Ohio to provide free and unbiased help enrolling in Medicaid and Marketplace health insurance. While many of our navigators work out of a CHN member organization, some work completely remotely. Regardless of where they are located, each navigator is dedicated to helping enroll as many consumers as they can in health insurance.
